Music branding is some of my favorite work. I had the opportunity to design art for an all-female cover compilation mixtape curated by Negative Fun Records and the Grey Estates. The bands and songs felt like a slumber party to me, and I knew it had to be bright colors, fun fonts and candy typography. Along with talented artist/photographer Trey Wright, I built the letters out in white sugar, bubble gum, Twizzlers, and basically anything sweet I could get my hands on.
Ever since I was a small child, I’ve been in love with drawing. But after sketching countless thumbnails in design school, drawing felt like a job rather than a pleasure. It took several years and a global pandemic for me to feel the same spark I once felt for taking a pencil to paper. In April of 2020, my design business took a big hit and I suddenly had a lot of free time. I began creating colorful, psychedelic art that took place in dream worlds and deep space. Illustration is my ultimate creative release. It fills me with so much joy, and I create art to spread that joy on to others.
Check out my design instagram for the latest technicolor creations. I also have a print and merch shop in the works, so stay tuned!
Creating a visual identity is an exciting challenge, and it all starts with the logo. You'll find work here from a wide variety of businesses and industries, the first step to creating a unique look and feel.
Rebrand & Sticker Design
Recycled Books is a three story bookstore filled with half a million books on the Denton downtown square. It’s a beloved local institution, the kind of place you take out of town visitors and a place I have personally spent hours upon hours in since I was a child.
When I was asked to take on their rebrand, I wanted to honor the unique spirit and history of Recycled while still creating a logo that felt fresh. The result was fun, groovy, hand-lettered typography. We made the logo purple as a nod to the opera house in which Recycled resides. I think it fits in great among the many volumes and shag carpet!
Brand Build, Packaging Design + Website Design
It’s easy to design for brands that make products you already know and enjoy. I love Goldenroot’s ginger beer because it’s strong and delicious and made from real ingredients without any fillers or artificial anything. For their rebrand, we wanted the look to feel magic, fresh and effervescent, communicating the purity and the uniqueness of the product. We also wanted to draw on the tradition of craft brewing, incorporating fonts that harken to that history visually. Gold felt like a natural choice for the color palette with warm blues to create contrast and dynamic tension. The result is a brand that feels both classic and brand new, just like the product itself.
Logo, Branding & Menu Design
Pizza Americana is a Richardson neighborhood pizza shop. We wanted the brand to feel like a blend of its Italian and American influences. Custom typography takes cues from classic Italian fonts and the color palette is a play on the American flag color scheme.
Merch Design
This artwork was created for KXT 91.7’s membership campaign in 2020. The title of the art is “Immersed in Song”, and the concept was music as a place of peace in a tumultuous world. 2020 was a trying year for us all, and with this art, I wanted to explore the idea of music as a way to escape from the pain of existence.
One of the challenges was keeping the art down to two colors and creating am image that could translate successfully to several different formats (pint glass, t-shirt, mug, bandana, etc). I love where we ended up!
The project was really special for me both as a visual artist and a musician. KXT has shown me and my band so much support over the years, playing our songs on their station and inviting us to play to a festival they hosted. It was so fun to create this work for them!

Franconia is a craft brewery in McKinney Texas with deep roots in the German brewing tradition. For Franconia, beer is about heritage, craft, kin, and family pride. Branding for their seasonal brews takes cues from the lone star state, Deutschland, and the bizarre.

Packaging Design
Designing for Resoycled Candle Company was a delight. From simple labels with minimal text, to more complex designs with botanical illustrations, to monograms inspired by illuminated manuscripts, our packaging work spanned a lot of ground visually, allowing me to stretch my skills and engage my brain. Working for a company that is focused on sustainability and conscious consumption is inspiring and makes the work flow forth. Carrie’s candles create a space for quiet thought and introspection, for daydreaming and calm. I feel honored that she trusted me to visually communicate her vision.
Branding + Packaging
Foutsy Crafted Cocktails makes the best margarita mix around: with no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, no nonsense. They are on a mission to bring great margaritas to Texas and beyond.
Creating this brand from packaging design to was an absolute pleasure. We wanted the brand to allude to its Dallas, Texas roots while also just feeling fun, exciting and delicious. We also wanted to communicate the wholesome, pure nature of the product. In a market where many products have questionable ingredients and are lacking in flavor, Foutsy strives to create a mix that is high in quality and in taste, and it really sets them apart.
Brochure Design
Fine arts events are always such treats! The Dallas Opera commissioned a brochure for their 2015-16 season of events, aimed to showcase beautiful photography and include detailed descriptions of all of the shows. Type and design elements became key in creating a classy, clean, informative piece. Capital letters are expressive and large to capture the energy of a live music experience. Gold and black keep it simple and refined and allow the photography to shine.

Logo Design & Mural
Red Zeppelin is a female run record store in downtown McKinney Texas. When the badasses behind Red Zeppelin approached me to do the logo, we knew it had to be punk, bold, and vibrant. We settled on a drippy planet for the logo. This ended up informing the spacey, trippy imagery of the mural. This is a very special project for me (my first mural I’ve both designed and painted!)
Logo Design & Packaging Design
Marvel + Moon is a witchy Denton candle company. We wanted the brand to feel mystical, feminine and powerful. The logo also needed to be simple enough to exist as a wax seal or a stamp. A limited color palette, a strong icon and clean linework help us to achieve this. Black and gold are a classic combo and feel so dark and elegant here.
I love music and I love music branding. Records, cds, posters, t-shirts, pins, stickers, you name it. As a touring musician myself, I know a bit about what it’s like to pedal your merch on the road. It can be ruthless, and you see what works and what flops pretty quickly. I enjoy taking what I’ve learned to help other musicians to brand themselves in a way that feels authentic to them and appealing to music fans.
Typography is such an integral part of design. Words are powerful, and there are a million of font possibilities out there. Here are a few examples of projects in which I've been able to create custom lettering out of various materials (paint, candy, and Sriracha to name a few!)
Branding + Collateral
Paw Prosper isn’t just another company in the pet industry, they truly seek to support pets throughout injury and aging, providing them with the best lives possible. Their portfolio of brands reflects these values, addressing the health of pets from every angle of physical and emotional support.
Designing the visual look for this brand, I wanted to keep in mind this mission and create visuals that reflected the nurturing, supportive quality of the company while also capturing their bold, positive energy.

When asked to create a fresh look for Fairhaven Denton, the retirement community was not only undergoing a change to the brand but a renovation and grand re-opening. Originally designed by O’Neil Ford in 1965, Fairhaven has a rich history within the local community. I wanted the brand to communicate this history and reflect their emphasis on beautiful design.
I took my cues from mid-century modern forms and color schemes, keeping the design minimal but impactful. The result is a look and feel that is unique for a senior living community.
T-shirt Design
The Rosemary Bakery is a McKinney, Texas based bakery specializing in local, organic, and seasonal pastries. Many of their recipes are centered around herbs and spices. There is a wildness and a connection to nature in all of their confections. The founder is Brooke Carter and her Italian / Texan heritage is expressed through the flavor and spirit of her products. Many of the same plants can be grown in the mediterranean and Texas, and they serve as a bridge between the two cultures.

Logo Design & Branding
Modern Motif Vintage is a mid-century modern furniture resale shop based in Denton TX. We wanted their logo to be simple and elegant with a dash of 60s flair. A clean monogram for the logo and background patterns inspired by vintage textiles get us there.
Packaging Concept
In college (and now, and probably forever) I was hopelessly addicted to coffee and decided it would be cool to design a concept for a fictional product for Toddy. Transcendental Toddy is a delicious cold brew, the strongest and smoothest option around for black coffee. With long shelf life, three times the caffeine of normal coffee, and a 12 hour brewing process, Transcendental Toddy surpasses the average cup of joe, taking the act of coffee drinking to its outermost limits. Packaging plays with the idea of coffee as a substance capable of transporting its drinker to an eye opening-ly caffeinated state. Funky sci-fi imagery, drug inuendo, and an all seeing coffee bean eye establish this 32 oz bottle of cold brew as an otherworldly stimulant.
